MLS All-Star game 2024: MLS vs Liga MX trilogy
The MLS All-Stars will face the LIGA MX best players for the third time in four years in this season MLS All-Star Game.
2022 edition
The best players from Major League Soccer (MLS) and Liga MX competed in the MLS All-Star Game 2022. The match was held on August 10, 2022, at Allianz Field in Saint Paul, Minnesota. This was the second edition of the MLS vs. Liga MX All-Star Game, following the inaugural one in 2021.
With goals by Carlos Vela and Raúl Ruidíaz, the MLS All-Stars defeated Liga MX 2-1, who scored through Kevin Álvarez. The most valuable player of the game was Dayne St. Clair, the MLS All-Stars' goalkeeper. The All-Star Game was the highlight of a week-long soccer fest in the Twin Cities, featuring a skills challenge, concerts, and community events.
