The Portland Timbers announced a new jersey sponsorship deal with DaBella, a home improvement company headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, on November 15, 2023. The partnership was supposed to last for three years, starting from the 2024 season, and include DaBella's logo on the front of the Timbers' jerseys, as well as various community initiatives and fan engagement opportunities.

However, the partnership was abruptly terminated by the Timbers on February 28, 2024, after allegations of sexual harassment and misconduct at DaBella surfaced in a court filing that was made public on February 23. The court filing was part of a lawsuit filed by a former DaBella executive, who accused the company's CEO, Donnie McMillan Jr., of making unwanted advances and sexually harassing at least three female employees. The lawsuit also alleged that DaBella had a culture of discrimination, retaliation, and intimidation against women and minorities.

The Timbers said they learned about the allegations on February 27 and decided to end the partnership with DaBella effective immediately. The club said they conducted a thorough pre-deal vetting process with a third-party firm, but did not learn of the filing until four days after it was made public. The club also said they made the decision based on their responsibility to their fans, supporters, partners, and employees, and to uphold the values and expectations of their community.
