Seattle Reign - who is coming back for 2024 season

Goalkeeper Claudia Dickey has extended her contract with Seattle Reign until the 2025 NWSL season. She was drafted by Seattle Reign as the 20th overall pick in the 2022 NWSL Draft and played her first game in the 2023 Challenge Cup.
In the Challenge Cup, the sophomore goalkeeper started three games and made 12 saves, keeping a clean sheet throughout the tournament. The native of Charlotte, North Carolina continued to start the rest of the six regular season games and recorded three shutouts and 21 saves in total.
At 23 years old, she made her first appearance in the NWSL playoffs as her club defeated Angel City FC 1-0 in the quarterfinals. She became the fifth goalkeeper in the league's history to keep a clean sheet in her playoff debut and the third youngest among them. Dickey also broke a club record for most shutouts in the NWSL playoffs by keeping another clean sheet in the semifinal against San Diego Wave FC.
Dickey had an outstanding 2023 season in all NWSL competitions, recording eight shutouts and 37 saves in 12 starts. She had the lowest goals against average (0.78) among goalkeepers who played at least nine games in the NWSL regular season and playoffs.
