Seattle Reign - who is coming back for 2024 season

Midfielder Olivia Athens has extended her contract with Seattle Reign until the end of the 2024 NWSL season. The UCLA alumna joined OL Reign before the 2022 season and has made 22 appearances, scoring two goals, winning 46 duels, 16 tackles and creating nine chances, in all NWSL tournaments.

The midfielder, in her second year, played in every match of the group stage in the 2023 UKG NWSL Challenge Cup. She scored one goal and had the third-highest number of tackles won (12) in the league, helping her team secure the top seed for the knockout round.
