Seattle Reign - who is coming back for 2024 season

Defender Ryanne Brown has extended her contract with Seattle Reign until the end of the 2024 NWSL season. The club drafted Brown as the 21st overall pick in the 2022 NWSL Draft, and she has played 18 games for them in all NWSL tournaments. Brown, who is in her second year as a defender, played 11 games in the 2023 regular season, and registered 23 duels won, 12 tackles won, six interceptions and nine clearances.

Brown played in all six group matches of the 2023 UKG NWSL Challenge Cup and did not concede any goals. The 23-year-old was second on the team in the tournament for tackles won (nine), interceptions (eight) and blocks (three). Brown scored her first goal for the club on May 31, which was the decisive goal against San Diego Wave FC.
