Tacoma Defiance signs four players for 2024 season

Tacoma Defiance, has announced the signing of four new players for the 2024 season. The club has secured the services of defender Travian Sousa, midfielders Faysal Bettache, and Sebastian Gomez and forward Burke Fahling. All four players have previous experience in the USL or MLS Next Pro, and will add depth and quality to the Defiance roster.

Sounders FC Director of Development Wade Webber expressed his excitement about the new signings, and said that they will bring a lot of energy and talent to the team. He also praised their work ethic and professionalism, and said that they will fit in well with the club's culture and philosophy. Webber said that he is looking forward to working with them and helping them develop their potential.

Defiance kicks off its third MLS NEXT Pro campaign with an away game against Austin FC II, the 2023 MLS NEXT Pro Cup champions, on Friday, March 15 at Parmer Field. This is a repeat of the Western Conference Semifinals from last season. Tacoma Defiance will play their first home game of the season against Colorado Rapids 2 at Starfire Stadium on Sunday, March 24. The team was the runner-up in the Western Conference last year and has won the Pacific Division two years in a row.
