Tacoma Defiance signs four players for 2024 season

Bettache, 23, joins Tacoma after playing for St. Louis CITY 2 for a year. He scored nine goals and assisted two in 27 MLS NEXT Pro games (24 as a starter), including a hat trick away at Houston Dynamo 2 on September 4.

The London-born midfielder joined St. Louis after spending most of his career in the Queens Park Rangers FC system, playing for the Academy, U-18 and U-21 teams. He also had a loan spell at Billericay Town FC in the 2019-2020 season, where he played four times. He made 13 appearances in total for QPR before going on loan to Oldham Athletic in 2021, where he played 13 times and recorded one assist.

After that, he joined Aldershot of the National League on loan for part of the 2022-2023 season and played seven games before moving to St. Louis.
