The Sounders 2025 MLS schedule has been reveled finally and let's get into detail about it. The home opener will be against the David Tepper owned Charlotte FC in Seattle on February 22nd. Last season Charlotte FC did qualify for the MLS playoffs last season with the overall 10th best record in the MLS with a 14-11-9 record. While the Sounders went 16-9-9 last season. Charlotte and Seattle didn't actually face each other last season with out last match being on June, 10th, 2023 in Charlotte which was a 3-3 draw. So if it's anything like that it'll be a fun opening game!

As for the Cascadia Cup, both of our opening games will be away. With the 1st game being on May 17th in Portland where their chainsaw wielding mascot hopefully won't chop any trees in half when we show up. With the game in Vancouver being on June 8th. Then comes the home doubleheader of a lifetime when 1st Vancouver comes to town on September 27th to close out the month by making some whitecaps melt I'm sure. Then on October 4th our archrivals the Timbers come to Lumen Field to hopefully be tarred and feathered. Figuratively speaking of course not literally of course. The tarring and feathering of any Timbers fans or players would be a horrible crime and I would condone any kind of violent action like that.

Other doubleheaders would be the triple-header facing FC Dallas on May 24th, San Diego FC on May 28th and Minnesota United on June 1st. And only 1 game later there would be another home doubleheader on June 18th against Austin FC and their shitty badge on June 28th then facing Columbus Crew on July 6th and their even shittier badge. On August 24th we start another home doubleheader starting against Sporting Kansas City then 6 days later on August 30th against Real Salt Lake City and ending on September 13th facing only the LA Galaxy. With the last doubleheader being the Cascadia Cup 1 we already talked about. And on September 16th we go away to Miami to of course face Inter Miami and Lionel Messi! Thanks a bunch for reading!
