The teams Jordan Morris are best vs worst against.

Earlier today I looked at why Morris struggled so much against our rivals the Portland Timbers. And that led me dawn a rabbit hole of seeing stats of Morris against all the MLS teams and so I wanted to see what teams our local hero does best or worst against in terms of goals and assists.

1st on the list is the team he's scored the most against which happens to be the most iconic franchise in MLS history, LA Galaxy. In 20 matches against the Galaxy he's scored 9 times and even assisted twice making it over a goal contribution every 2 games. While sure we aren't considered rivals or anything. But with the amount of overwhelming support Galaxy faces and how talented their squads usually are. It shows a lot of resilience and skill to face up against such a fearsome foe.

2nd on the list of most scored is 1 of the teams from the lone star state, FC Dallas. In 16 matches played against Dallas he has scored 8 goals and has another 2 assists. We see a pattern of him being able to score often but not frequently. The team he scores the 3rd most against Sporting Kansas City with 8 goals and this time 3 assists in only 12 matches which is by far his most impressive record against any time.

Now we move to the least amount of goals and for this I have made a rule that he has to at least played the teams 5 times and the same will go for least assists as well. Starting off is the Timbers where in 19 matches he's only had 1 goal and 1 assist. I already made a article about it so I won't elaborate on it too much. Next is the Houston Dynamo who in 13 matches has also only 1 goal against them, guess he hates playing against teams that have logos more fitting for a baseball team than a soccer team. And 3rd is Toronto FC who is 8 appearances against them he only has scored a single goal including both MLS cup finals he played in against them.

As for most assists for this we actually have a 4 way tie for 1st place all 3 teams having a total of assists each from Morris. With the 4 clubs being Orlando SC whom he has 3 assists against in most impressively only 4 games. Next is the Chicago Fire where his 3 assists have come in almost as impressive 7 games. Then as previously stated Sporting Kansas City whom his 3 assists cam in 12 games against then and our other Cascadia Cup rival the Vancouver Whitecaps with 3 assists in 16 games.

As for least assists 1st it's another tie between 2 teams this time with none and it's 2 familiar clubs. Toronto FC and the Houston Dynamo who he also scored the least goals against. They must've really figured him out. Then next is Real Salt Lake who breaks the tie for 2nd with only 1 assists in 18 games but does have 3 goals against them to be fair. Thanks a bunch for reading!
