Sounders jersey take #1 in ESPN rankings for 2nd year in a row.

For the second year in a row the Sounders beat the rest of the MLS to be named ESPN's #1 jersey of 2025 MLS season! Last year it was our home kit that took top spot for 2024 this year though it was our away kit that took top prize! A jersey I've already shared my thoughts on.

This I'm sure will make the Coast Salish designers which the Sounders teamed up with to make the jerseys very proud as they should be. It's a great way to show the talents and culture of the Coast Salish to the rest of the country and they're doing a great job showing themselves off. Look who it is again.

"A year after landing in the top spot with a dazzling home kit, the Sounders are back with a secondary kit to match. The deep blue isn't just handsome, it's also novel, as Seattle turns to a dark blue secondary strip for the first time as an MLS team. The design, which comes from three Salish women and the local weaving traditions, gives the kit texture and depth for a classy and distinctive look.

The Sounders have done a spectacular job since refreshing the brand prior to their 50th season last year and it shows up again here. The kit is inspired by the Puget Sound and feels distinctly Seattle, with their revised, minimalist Space Needle crest fitting in well. Even the sleeve sponsor feels right at home.

Between this kit and last season's green offering, the 2025 Sounders may have the best set of kits in MLS history." ESPN writer Ryan Rosenblatt said about the Seattle Sounders 2025 away kit.

A couple of other things to note are things like are the fact are Cascadia Cup archrivals Portland Timbers funnily enough got 2nd! With their gold and green home kit meant to celebrate their 50th anniversary and indeed it's a great jersey. Meaning when we meet the Timbers in Portland later this season fans will be treated with two really great jerseys to look throughout the game as a treat, thanks a bunch for reading!
