"I think you're right. Everyone is entitled to their opinion." Brian starts. "And certainly the sport and the social media channels everyone gets to talk about to talk about their team. And I appreciate all that. But we're adding a player who started in a World Cup match, okay? A kid who scored 22 goals in a season and you try and buy a player who scored 22 goals in whatever league he's playing in. I mean that's gonna cost you some money. So we can all wait and see and let's keep our fingers crossed, and I don't wanna put a lot of expectations cause it's not just Jesus. It's got to be everybody that pitches in. I mean we need use everybody last year. Cause the season's long, we're in a lot of competitions, you know? We got a long season to go. But getting Jesus and being able ta you know pitch in like I said. And his amount of contributions, goals and assists and that's gonna help the squad. So I was very excited and look the other side of that, the flipside of that, the conversation that's going on. Is people are saying well is Jordan Morris well he actually earned that, he earned that. And Jordan got better as the year progressed, remember I made that change almost the halfway point of the year, last year? So other than his rookie season when he played forward a little bit. He's been playing both wings a little spot at number 9, it was 6 months as a number 9 and he's even gonna get better. So let's just see how it shakes out."

While I do have my worries about the Jesus Ferrira move. I understand where Brian's coming from. He's right in that if we get that 22 goal a year Jesus Ferrira he'd be a very valuable player for us and of course that's what Seattle believe they got. Where I agree with him more is Jordan Morris. A lot of fans have been critical of him recently and it's not undeserved. But 1st it breaks my heart a little because as a kid growing up in Seattle it was really cool seeing someone as local as him playing a star role for the Sounders, especially as a Barca fan where that's a lot more common. But 2nd he is right before 6 months ago he barely played any striker and was a winger. Now of course injuries tragically took away some of his effectiveness as a winger. But he's brings a lot of value to any MLS offense so transiting him to striker makes the most sense. And while he's got a lot to work on if he keeps the same work ethic and mindset he's had for his entire career I'm sure he'll be valuable striker soon. Thanks a bunch for reading!
