I haven't talked a lot about the American Mastero Cristian Roldan, time to change that! By looking at what teams he's done the best/worst against in his long Sounders career. So let's do it!
Kicking off with a team we really seem to do great against is the LA Galaxy a team that in 26 appearances against he has 7 goals and 2 assists a very impressive record for a central midfielder, especially against such a successful and historic team. Next is a 2 way tie with 2 clubs Sounders fans love with all their hearts and souls almost as much as the Sounders, the Timbers and the Earthquakes. Though it's broken by the San Jose failures as against both clubs he's had 5 goals and 4 assists but he's had his 9 total contributions against the Earthquakes in 20 games compared to his 9 goal contributions coming in 27 games against the Timbers.
Now for the team's he's done the worst against. We start off with another rival of ours that sadly seem to have his number is the Vancouver Whitecaps which in 24 appearances against them not only has he had no goals against them but no assists as well. Our Cascadia Cup rivals truly have him figured out, credit where credit's due. His record against LAFC is very similar with no goals or assists in 22 appearances vs the SoCal based club. And lastly with a more optimistic record against the Chicago Fire with 9 appearances against them he still has no goals but 3 assists to average a assist every 3 games, fun with division.
Now for the clubs he has the most assists against which is Minnesota United with a very impressive record of 5 assists and 2 goals in only 14 appearances. A direct goal contribution against them every 2 games, which is brilliant for someone in his position. Next is a 3 way tie between 2 of the clubs we've already talked about the Timbers and the Earthquakes but now also the Colorado Rapids. What can I say he does brilliant against teams from the west. But the Rapids lose out on the tiebreaker because he only scored 3 goals against the Rapids while again he scored 5 against the Timbers and Earthquakes.
