Sounders are looking into... MARCUS RASHFORD WHAT?!

So much for a lack of ambition, huh?

I wanna apologize for previously complaining about a lack of ambition in the transfer market. Because either they real listened to me or everyone simply took breaks for Christmas. Because they've come back swinging with more gusto than any of us could've possibly imagined. Because we are now looking into signing star or ex Man United star (depends how you look at it) attacker Marcus Rashford. A local product of England's most famous club he was not to long ago 1 of the best attackers in England if not the world. Even having the capability to change British law a honor not many other players can boast.

His career season was not very long ago in 2022/23. Where scored a career high 30 goals, 17 in the premier league along with 9 assists in the Prem as well. But in the past 2 seasons he hasn't been hitting close to those numbers only 15 goals in the past 2 season in all contests, including only 7 so far this year. These struggles has seen a fanbase who loved him come to vilify him. And we can talk about why his form throughout his career has been so inconsistent and why he's been struggling recently. His constant battle with injuries, 12 throughout his career and he's only 27. Erik ten Hag and his really bad management and tactics, Erik ten Hag and his really bad management and tactics or even Erik ten Hag and his really bad management and tactics. But that's not what we're here to do today.

As reported on by Noah Riffe on Bluesky the Sounders haven't reached out to the British attacker yet but have held talks with themselves that wasn't a joke or some crazy idea by 1 guy. But a serious plan to make a plan with the MLS and it would be structured very similar to Messi's deal like his fee and salary which makes sense because otherwise with Rashford's €55.00m worth that would be 8 times our record transfer fee and almost 4 times the MLS record in a normal deal.

If we can pull this off it would be a historic move for the Sounders and while he's been out of form recently. That's in the Premier League out of form in the Premier League is still a MVP candidate in the MLS. But that's exactly why I don't believe it'll happen. Even if you don't believe he can get it done a top team in the Prem anymore, I do for the record. But that still opens a lot of doors for him that allows him to stay in elite level European soccer leagues, which as the very young age of 27 most likely is still a priority for him. He likely could still be great at a Ligue 1 or a Serie A club and all of em would be interested in him for several reasons. He could even go to a mid-pack Prem club like Aston Villa or West Ham, Crystal Palace etc. and become the vocal point on offense and he'd most likely find his form in the Prem again.

So unlikely but if it happened it'd be a historic move for the club, thanks a bunch for reading!
