The club renewed the contract of some of the pillars of the team and guaranteed some of the young talents as well. In total, 12 players had their contract extended (the famous "club option") or renewed, including starters as Stef Frei, João Paulo, Albert Rusnák, Yeimar, Alex Rodan and others. The 50th Anniversary season
This will not be a common season. It's the 50th year of the Seattle Sounders history. We put together some things to be excited about as well as what we fans should be worried about.

The first game
The match between LAFC and Seattle Sounders will take place on Saturday, February 24th, at BMO Stadium (previously known as Banc of California Stadium). The game will start at1:45PM (PT), but MLS games typically begin nine minutes later than the scheduled time. You can watch the game for free on Apple TV MLS Season Pass, or on Fox, which is why the kickoff time is listed as 1:30PM. For Fox games, the pre-game show usually lasts about 24 minutes before the actual game begins.
