Expectations. When you walk into work, your boss unfortunately will have some. I know mine will expect me to start prepping a firewall for remote install and a DNS server to install this week. It’s lame, but we gotta do what we gotta do to save the mortgage, make sure the kids eat and give the wife a little bit of spending money.
But, just like our boss has expectations, I’m sure that we all have expectations of how the Sounders will perform against UANL Tigres. The Champions League date is approaching and with it will come home-and-away matches versus the top club in Liga MX. They’ve yet to lose a game, are now 3-0-0 on the road and pulled off a miraculous draw against Santos Laguna, Saturday.
With the club getting all the breaks, s a very strong Emanuel Villa up top and an ageless Lucas Lobos in the middle it would seem that this team insurmountable at this time. Forget about even trying to stop them from scoring, in 7 league games thus far they’ve only surrendered 5 goals.
Can the Sounders rally together and as the underdogs defeat these Mexican giants? What do you think? What the keys to the games?
