As you head to the game on Saturday and are in need of some recommendations for places to visit to eat or drink; Please take a look at the selection below and feel free to add your own recommendations and favorite places for your pre-game establishments.
This is the official bar of the Emerald City Supporters, the food is also standard bar fare, but if you wanted to drink in a pregame atmosphere, this is where I would head. You can frequently hear chants and songs echoing out of the saloon as you walk by or head to the March to the Match at Occidental Park. You will also find the biggest soccer games on to get you ready for the match.
164 South Washington Street
Seattle, WA 98104
This is my personal favorite. The deli is known for extraordinary sandwiches and a great bottled beer selection. Straight from Philly-Steak sandwiches and being able to have a bottle of the finest brews around is always a plus. The prices are very reasonably priced.
230 Yesler Way
This is normally a pregame favorite of Mariners and Seahawks fans as they have a beer garden during the warmer months. They have a better than average food selection, and the freshly crafter brews are always tasty. My personal favorite is the Apricot Ale. It is kitty corner to Century Link Field and is a favorite for those coming from West Seattle and the south end.
1201 1st Ave S
Seattle, WA 98134
Seattle’s Historic Triangle:
This is a tiny small bar on the corner of 1st Ave S and Railroad Way S is a place to get a quick drink before walking across the street to head to the match or walk up to the March to the Match. They do not serve almost any food, but is a compact bar and has a small outside area to congregate while consuming your favorite pregame beverage.
553 1st Ave S,
The Double Header:
Has Standard bar far old tube televisions but has pitchers of beer on the cheap and is a great place to go for quantity rather than quality.
407 2nd Avenue Ext S
Seattle, WA 98104
As mentioned above these are just some of my favorite places. Please feel free to add your own, as I love to try new places.
