“What If I Told you….” there would be a 30 For 30 Following the US. Men’s national team leading into the most anticipated soccer event in history.
ESPN has just announced they will air a 30 for 30- like documentary following the U.S. Men’s National team leading up to the World Cup in Brazil this summer. According to the press release, it will air a weekly episode for five weeks beginning on May 13th and will give a behind the scenes look as the team prepares for its challenge of taking on the world’s best beginning in June.
The series will follow the coaches and players, including Clint Dempsey, Landon Donovan, Tim Howard and Michael Bradley, as they endure a demanding preparation camp and play three international matches before their departure for Sao Paulo.
Similarly, Fox Sports recently announced they would be airing a similiar 30 minute six part series all on different teams from past and present. The episode titled “Breaking Barriers” will focuse on the 1998 World Cup matchup between Iran and the USA.
