Seattle Reign Announce Full 2015 Schedule

Seattle’s NWSL side the Reign released Thursday their full schedule for the 2015 season.

Following an impressive second season in the top flight of women’s soccer in America, fans will certainly be looking froward to seeing the side in action for their 24 regular season games.  The 2014 season saw the Reign secure the NWSL Shield (awarded for being the best team in the regular season), and fall agonizingly short of winning the playoffs as well, losing by a score of 1-2 against FC Kansas City.

Of course the fixture everyone will be looking for is the first chance to go toe-to-toe against bitter rivals the Portland Thorns.  That chance comes on July 22nd for an away match at Providence Park, and just four days later on the 26th the Reign will play host to the Thorns in Seattle.

To round off the season, the Reign travel to Maryland to play the Washington Spirit, who finished the 2014 season fourth in the NWSL table on 35 points, a single point behind third-place Portland.

It’s shaping up to be another exciting season for the Seattle Reign, and I look forward to bringing all the important news to you through it.
