Match Preview: Reign Travel to FC Kansas City

On Saturday the Reign will take on FC Kansas City for the second time this season.

On Saturday the Reign will play against FC Kansas City for the second time of this NWSL season. The Reign took all three points in their first meeting, the lone goal of the game coming in the 56th-minute from Kim Little.

Reign fans, still a little heartbroken from losing to FC Kansas City in the NWSL finals for the past two seasons, would like grab another win against them and push farther up the NWSL standings. The Reign currently sit in 6th place, three points above 8th place FC Kansas City. Depending on how Orlando does against the Portland Thorns and how the WNY Flash do against the Boston Breakers, a win could push the Reign as high as 4th place in the league. A loss, though, could see the Reign fall as far as 8th.

Kick-off on Saturday is at 4pm and it can be seen on YouTube. The game starts right after the Sounders game and an hour before the kick-off of the United States Copa America consolation match. Keep following Sounders Nation for the latest on the Reign.
